The success of our program depends solely on the strength of our volunteer support. All LJB parents are expected to donate time or talent to the organization. Every LJB family is required to volunteer 8 hours for the season or pay the buyout option of $100 as detailed during registration.
There are many opportunities to volunteer throughout the season.
Check Availability Before Enrolling:
Snack BarSell snacks and food. Assist in preparing food. Home games and at practice.
GrillGrill Food, Fry. Prepare Food, clean workstation. Home games.
Chains
On-field use chain to identify first down. The Referee will tell you where to put it. Home/away games.
Announcer
Announce plays (touchdowns etc) from the announcer's booth. Announce raffle winner. Home games.
Clean-Up Crew
Dispose of trash left on the bleachers and the ground. Home/away games.
GateWelcome guests. Collect entry Fees. Home games.
PARKeep track of players on the field to ensure minimum plays are met per athlete. You'll be working with a volunteer from the other team. Home/away games. No PAR volunteer equals a forfeit by that team.
Runner
Fills water jug, grabs ice packs, Relays messages, other misc. tasks as needed. Home games.
Raffle/Sells
Sell tickets for 50/50 Raffle. Sell Bake sale and Merch. Assist children who may be helping. Home games.
Firework Booth
Sell fireworks. Restock booth. Pre-season June 28th-July 4th.
